The Edman Sequencing Service

The Edman Sequencing Service offers two automated microsequencing services for obtaining protein sequence information:

  1. N-terminal sequence analysis using automated Edman degradation chemistry.

  2. Enzymatic digestion of proteins followed by purification of peptide fragments by reversed-phase HPLC for internal Edman sequencing (1-3).
