The Proteomics Resource Center of the
Rockefeller University
comprises the biomolecule biochemical analysis and synthesis center for the
University. We provide services to the Rockefeller University community on a
subsidized, cost recovery basis.
Currently we offer several services related to
biomolecules. These include the
Mass Spectrometric
Service and
Proteomic Analysis, Edman
Sequencing and
Peptide Synthesis.
The Proteomics Resource Center has a variety of instruments which can be
used by investigators on a reserved basis. The available instruments can be
found at our
User Instrumentation
Laboratory.
Basic research within the center is performed to further the development of methodologies
for microanalytical techniques and biopolymer synthesis. The goal is to
extend the limits of sensitivity and broaden the range of services provided to
investigators.
